A Little Bit About Salmon
Can I talk about salmon for a minute?
Salmon is a fantastic addition to your diet due to its high levels of protein and omega-3s. It is also very high in Vitamin D, which is important to be getting from our foods during the winter, when we aren't getting as much of our daily dose from sunlight.
I don't know if you've ever wondered why salmon has its beautiful pink color. I know I have. Turns out, it comes from the krill and tiny shellfish that the salmon eat. Talk about turning the color of what you eat!

I made this last night and it was fantastic! I made it with Sword Fish Steaks. I cheated and used the pureed Ginger in a jar, and and subst. with a small bit of garlic powder. This was fantastic! Served it with couscous and sauteed baby broccoli!
I usually cook with lemons or Oranges but This was fantastic!
So glad you enjoyed it!
This sounds delicious, I'll have to try it. It's great to have alternative ways to fix fish and make meals interesting. Ginger is also extremely good for you.
