Mexican Spiced Pizza Sauce
A slightly spicy pizza sauce that brings Mexican flavors to your pizza.
Yield: approx ¾ c sauce, enough for 1 (12 inch) pizza crust

Ingredients

tomato paste

c + 2 Tbsp
water

teaspoon
paprika

teaspoon
onion powder

teaspoon
chili powder

teaspoon
cumin

garlic powder

cayenne
¼
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl until combined.
Let the sauce stand for at least 5 minutes before using to top a pizza.
Brush pizza crust lightly with oil before topping with sauce to keep the crust from getting soggy during baking.
Notes
This sauce does have a bit of a kick.
Omit the cayenne if you like things a bit on the milder side.
