Leftover holiday ham becomes a delicious breakfast or brunch in this easy Ham Strata.
Yield: 1 (8x8) pan (Double the recipe to fill a 9x13 pan.)

Ingredients

milk

eggs

Dijon mustard

Worcestershire sauce

granulated onion

paprika

ground black pepper

bread cubes,
any type, slightly stale

cooked ham,
chopped

green pepper,
diced

sharp cheddar cheese,
shredded
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a medium bowl or 4c liquid measure, whisk together milk, eggs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion, salt, paprika, and pepper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, toss together the breadcrumbs, ham, ½ c cheese, and green pepper.
Pour the liquid mixture over the bread mixture, mixing to coat. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes for the bread to absorb the liquid.
Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8 baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese.
Bake, uncovered, 40-45 minutes, until firm in the center.
Remove from the oven and let stand, uncovered, 5-10 minutes before serving.
